SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed regarding the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue developed for intervention activities a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to allow the servicing of all consumers and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
